When's the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP to our wedding no later than May 1st. Navigate to the "RSVP" tab on our website.
Do I need to RSVP if I already RSVP'd when save the dates went out?
Yes. This round of RSVPs will include important information about attendance to different events, dietary restrictions, and transport and parking.
Is there a wedding registry?
Yes! Please see the "Registry" tab on our website. Your presence is the gift, but we're grateful for any contributions as we start our married life together.
Will there be parking at Spillian?
The "Rule of 3": Spillian has very limited parking, with 25 spots total. To maximize our limited parking, we ask that every car has at least 3 people.
Will there be a shuttle? When?
For the Saturday evening ceremony and reception, we are providing a door-to-door shuttle for your convenience and safety. We strongly encourage people to take the shuttle, especially if you'll be drinking.
The shuttle can pick up and drop off guests directly at their lodging.
There will not be a shuttle for the Friday welcome drinks and Saturday morning Indian wedding ceremony.
What accommodations are available for parking?
People with handicap parking stickers can park in a separate lot closer to the venue.
Are there ride share services in the area?
There are no ride share services available in the vicinity of Spillian. We highly encourage guests to have access to a car for our wedding.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The wedding will largely be outdoors, weather permitting. Plan for weather in the upper 70s°F during the day and temperatures that can drop to the 50s°F in the evening. See our page on dress codes for more details on how to dress for all our events, but plan to bring sunglasses and wear shoes that accommodate the outdoors.
What's the wedding dress code?
This wedding has multiple events: welcome drinks on Friday, a Saturday morning Indian wedding ceremony, and vows, dinner and dancing in the evening. Please see our "Schedule" tab for details on timing and when to arrive. Please see our "Dress Code" tab for details on specific dress codes for our events.
When is it ok to wear Indian clothes?
If you are Indian or of desi heritage, feel free to wear Indian attire to all events. If you are not of Indian or desi heritage, we ask that you only wear Indian attire to the Indian wedding ceremony.
How long is the Indian wedding ceremony and what is appropriate etiquette for this ceremony?
The Indian wedding ceremony will be two hours and move between various locations at Spillian. Brunch will be served during the ceremony. It is appropriate to eat and drink during the ceremony.
I'm interested in understanding what is happening during the Indian wedding ceremony. Where can I learn more?
Preeti is very excited to share her family's traditions with her community. The couple will be sharing programs on the day that walk guests through the various traditions that will take place.
Is this wedding kid friendly?
While we love your little ones, we've decided to make our special day adults-only.
Are pictures allowed during the wedding ceremony and/or reception?
Please refrain from taking photos or videos during the Indian wedding ceremony and during the vows. Otherwise, you're free to take photos and videos during other events.
What menu options will there be for people with dietary restrictions?
All food at our wedding will be strictly vegetarian. If you have dietary needs beyond that, please share your dietary preferences when you RSVP and we will strive to accommodate them.
